Just seen that myself mate, not looking good. Why would JR do a press conference at sky and not at the training ground. I hope this doesn't turn out how i think it might. . .

He looks damaged goods with the DFP statement and we know he has appeared a man of his word

Everyone is guessing - and my only conclusion is that he knew DS had been approached in case things did not pick up OR ....

...he knew NOTHING and someone went behind his back and appointed DS thus leaving JR looking foolish and with nowhere to go but out

All the above could be s**t I agree but sooner or later we should find out

I would have thought that the conference is to announce the appointment of the new guy. Possibly with the new guy in attendance.

I'd have thought it would take a hell of a lot to make JR walk.

He loves the club, and I don't personally think he would throw his hard work and achievments due to 'backroom unrest' besides, at the minute it's all rummours. Only 20 minutes to go and we'll know.

Seems to have been a lot of emergency meetings and apparently heated words recently.
Maybe the boardroom are flexing there muscles. John Ryan has put a massive amount into rovers, blood sweat and money. Alot of other teams would have made a decision before now. Even John Ryan has to be realistic and for Saunders to be in within the blink of an eye then things have been bubbling in the background. Let's get behind them all and push up the table.
