New Manager, New Start/Chapter - Dean Saunders Era

After waking up to this mornings bomb-shell, and spending well over an hour at work reading up on it, I realise that there are many people not impressed and unknowing what exactly has gone off over the last few days.

But as Rovers we need to move on. We have always got behind our team and our club, even when times were bad (alot worse than now!).

I just wanted to put a thread up welcoming DS to our club, and wish him all the very best in kick-starting our season, ending our poor months of results and get us back to winning ways. It might not be instantanious, but I will give him the same backing I have with all managers in the past and hope he can bring a new chapter and prove his worth. New tactics and new ideas, maybe it will be all for the Greater Good!!

I agree and will fully support DS and the team tomorrow. Yes I would have liked to see SOD given a couple more games but that's it. It's done now, get over it and move on SOD has gone but DRFC hasn't.

I agree. Some people resent the fact that SOD has gone, and I respect that, but everybody has to get behind Saunders now. It'd be counter productive to get on his back before he's even had a chance to show what he can do. At the end of the day, it's not his fault that SOD has gone. Plus, he's at a Conference club, and has been offered a Championship job, he's not going to turn it down, is he?
