Let the game flow, always looking to play advantage. Excellent ref.

Apart from ducking the biggest decision when Sign him on Adelakun was brought down just outside area (imo)

Joyce realised it would have been a Red Card so imo let a cheat stay on the field

That apart he gets a 3 from me

Really good ref. Few times their players should have been carded and I wouldn't mind seeing Whalley's challenge on Sterry again but, other than that he was right on the money.

I said exactly the same thing.

Why would a player of Haks ability go down when he was clear on goal? Last man = red card.

Exactly.  He was looking to get his shot away.
No one is going to go down in that situation unless they are fouled.

An easy decision that Accrington couldn’t have complained about but I dunno, perhaps he was feeling sorry for them.

A foul all day long & then you just follow the rule book. He chose not to for some inexplicable reason.

Apart from that he was ok.

Exactly this.
I immediately said to my father-in-law who came to the match with me “He wouldn’t go down in a position like that unless he was fouled”.

You notice that the ref turned away with his hands behind his back shaking his head

I was livid about that incident at the time. Haks clean through on goal is going to carry on and get a shot away every time. No way he would've gone down if he wasn't taken out. I admit I was a long way from the incident as I go in the South Stand but it certainly looked like the defender got nowhere near the ball. As it was outside the area there's no double-jeopardy in play so regardless of whether it was a genuine attempt to win the ball or not it was a DOGSO red card offence. Fortunately Haks wasn't hurt and we got the result anyway.
