Today’s team:
-
Actually not that bad a bench now.
Good keeper
Quality cover across the back four.
Decent cover in central and wide midfield.
Just lacking obvious centre forward cover.
-
Bingham second half Hattrick haha
-
He scored a great goal last week.. not saying he would bag 3 today though..
It’s matchday, time to support every player..
-
I am praying for a positive result, only because I'm sick of the daily meltdowns
-
IFollow question: Happy with commentary? I’m fortunate in being overseas so can watch the game, is the commentary I hear the same as that for audio-only in the uk?
If I couldn’t see the game, I’d find the commentary very frustrating. Too much chat, “punditry” and anecdote, little description of the action. Thankful for the video coverage ....sound muted.
-
I see Rochdale winning at Wycombe and Oxford winning at Gillingham....
-
20 minutes gone. How we doing! Any chances?
-
1 down :crying:

1 down :crying:
Sounds like a cracking goal.
-
I see Rochdale winning at Wycombe and Oxford winning at Gillingham....
......and Coventry winning at Doncaster.
-
Come on you Reds... :scarf:
-
Come on Donny :scarf:
-
No Idah in Norwich squad today. Injured or possibly moving?

H.T. 0-1.
Come on you Reds. Let’s do it in the 2nd half!
-
Coventry edging it slightly on overall play. Maybe we could have closed their scorer down better but it was a decent strike out of Diengs reach..
We need to get our front 3 more into this game.
-
That should have been a penalty right on half time.
-
Bloody awful game again. Serious question, and I don’t think I’m a doom monger in any way shape or form, but is anyone entertained by this football on show?

Coventry fans...?
-
Season ticket holder but only made half the games.
We play a system where we need to play ball on ground and quickly.
It's so ponderous today. Do we need sadlier more central to help ennis?

I agree,we’ve had one attempt at goal, a long range effort from the full back

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: if the game is crap, but we are winning, then, yes, I find it entertaining! I pay my money to see us win, not to be entertained.

I think “bloody awful” is an exaggeration.
We’re not at our best today but it is only half time and we need to step up a gear.

I guess I imagined the free kick that Taylor had where his shot was straight at the wall.?
-
Coventry winning every free kick by going down.
No closing down for their goal they sitting ten men behind the ball and hitting us on the counter attack now.
Ref giving us very little Ennis should have had a penalty right on half time plus one just before when he got pulled backwards off the pitch
-
Bingham on for sadlier

Very harsh.
It's two very good sides. Both working bloody hard.

We certainly need to do something with the game plan to be more effective up front..
Bingham on for Sadlier..
-
But in my opinion we’re no better or worse than in the Shrewsbury or Oxford games. We just somehow managed win those 2. We may win this one also. But as entertainment value goes at the moment, it’s just not there.

Agree to differ. There’s no real quality there for me. We’re not good enough for this passing from the back.
-
Lets not forget we are playing the form team in the league here..... we'll hopefully come hard in the second half.
Keep the faith...
-
It’s not been the playing from the back that had been our issue today..
-
We have had 3 shots saved in the last 3 mins..
-
Commentary saying Bingham made a difference and had a shot saved.
-
BBC ticker doesn’t even mention Copps’ tight angle chip over Marosi which was headed off the line..
We are getting nowt off this ref..
-
Wimbledon beating Peterborough..... he he
-
Good afternoon everyone! Sounds like we are not getting the rub of the green, not helped by a ref who will not give us anything. Still winnable, need to move up a gear or two, to beat this good Coventry side.
-
Much better this half, more urgent and direct..
-
Come on you reds... :scarf:
-
corner go Rovers
-
another corner
-
Just seen Sadlier went off at half time for Bingham. Injured or just an absolute stinker?

Injured, according to BBC
-
Took a knock not long before half time..
-
So predictable and toothless up front.
-
tritter feed is always faster than teletext from rovers DRFC
-
We are the kings of last minute goals - let's be having it!
-
So predictable and toothless up front.
That’s a bit harsh, we’ve been decent up front second half..
-
5 mins added
-
We’ve been good going forward without creating anything
-
It’s a sad state when we have no one to bring on to change the game
-

Decent down the flanks but just run out of ideas when any where near or in the pen area.
-
We’ve been good going forward without creating anything
you forgot the saves they made in the first ten mins or so this half..
-
We’ve been good going forward without creating anything
Exactly
-
We’ve been good going forward without creating anything
talk about a contradiction
-
Never mind.. just couldn’t quite finish it off this half..
Cue more unjustified forum meltdown.

I'm off back to bed

think I'll give main forum a swerve tonight...
-
Is it unjustified? We need players in that are better than we have on the bench now, most other teams are doing it why can’t we? We had months to sort out players
-
See you in a couple days. Signing out.
-
Sensible debate is fine, meltdown and the usual shite is not..
Goodnight...
-
Unfortunately too many poor performances today don't think Ennis won a header all game Whiteman was shocking sheaf also not at his best copps had 2 men on him all game and struggling to do anything positive.
The few attacks we hard down wing were great but got lost when players in the center wanted to take 4 or 5 touches.
-
Today showed why we need an out and out striker, a number 9 with ennis and sadlier either side would create and score plenty
We’re just not getting the best out of him playing him as a number 9
He needs to be the foil for someone else like Wilks was last year
-

I don't think we really create that many chances even a striker would score.
-
I know but I think ennis would create chances for a proper striker and of course a proper striker would create his own chances just with proper movement etc

Already started, for f**ks sake..
