Isn't another midfielder a distraction? We can manage 20+ shots at goal but getting it in the net is the issue. We need a finisher, the way I see it.

Genuine question: what is the possibility of a championship club signing, after their window has shut, a (presumably) free agent who was not a free agent when the window closed?

I don't believe they can, can only sign players who were free agents before their window shut, which Oztumer is not.
Don't quote me on that as it's not something I know for sure, but believe it to be the case.

There'll be a lot of League One clubs after him. I think he'd be a really good fit here, give him a 2 year deal. Better than getting a loan in.

He’s got to be better than loaning in someone else for us to develop and creating yet another hole at the end of the season. Copps can’t keep going forever(sorry for the blasphemy) so having a similar type of player ready to take over would be a huge plus. Also gives Copps a break he might need which he otherwise wouldn’t be getting.

But he’s a midfielder who can score more than 2/3 a season in the league players.

We had a replacement for Copps in Beestin until the snake f@cked him off.

Well Beestin doesn't have a club yet, so if he was up to scratch he could of come back or someone else would of signed him.

Sure i read that ex-premier league striker ,now a free agent,Wilfrid Bony is keeping fit by training with Newport -anyone think it could be a good signing -if we could afford him though !
