What game did he watch

DF just said on radio sheff if we play like we played against Rotherham for rest of season we will win more than we lose. We had 1 shot on target we continuously gave the ball away and we would have lost if they had took there chances.

And we would've won if we'd taken ours.

I was as guilty as anyone as overreacting to the result as opposed to the performance.

However, the game has too many similarities to others this season where we've lacked balls and tossed away points which we could have had in the bag if we'd shown a bit more mettle.

DF needs to address those two issues otherwise this season will run the risk of being full of Ifs, Buts and Maybes where we don't actually sort out the things that are knackering us.

After match interviews rarely contain much aspect of truth. They are used by Managers to get across what he thinks he needs the team to hear rather than what happened in the match.Warnes interview for them was also very wide of reality...

The bottom line though is it has to be a concern at the level of chances we are creating.Yes we controlled the game in large parts but as the Yorkshire Post put it,we stung like a butterfly.I noticed how many free kicks they got around our box,we didn't get one, mainly due to arriving far to late to make the defender think he has to commit to a tackle.
Reality is we are not going to win many games scoring 1 goal, home or away. Our defence just isn't good enough to get lots of clean sheets and I think it shows just how little faith he has in Mandeville and Williams at the minute that he goes with just Marquis.I would love to see Beestin given a go instead but regardless.Surely a on loan striker is on the January need list..
