Bostock my MOTM but a few lads did well today.
Are you serious. I thought he did very little as usual.
Galbraith and Close did all the work in midfield and i think after Ben Close had a stinker on Tuesday he would be my man of match today.
Showed what a good player he is today and why RW made him his first signing.

Between those two for me too Campsall, however I went for Galbraith

Massive result today.
Just shows possession counts for nothing if you score less than the opposition.
We dug in and showed the character needed after that humiliation on Tuesday.

Now we need to carry that forward to the next game and beyond.
If we do we will be fine.
That was not a bottom 4 team I saw out there today.

I thought Bostock had a good game too, got lots of tackles in and broke up play well, all 3 central midfielders did well. We were exposed on the flanks, Vilca went missing for large parts of the first half and Hiwula did not impress until he set up the winner, thought Dodoo did well won lots of headers we just need to get him some support picking up the second balls. But a much improved display.

For the love of God Richie

DO NOT START THIS GAME WITH CUKUR!!

I've seen more mobile Walruses than this guy and more aggression in Christopher Biggins.

He has no footballing ability. He runs like he's nearing the finishing line at the London Marathon, and that's from kick off.

He wins about 1 challenge with a defender for every 10. He cannot head the ball and he's as robust as an 90 year old in an old people's home.

The reason why you are crap and struggling Richie is that you keep playing players who are also crap and struggling but for some reason you fail to realise it.

May as well start with 10 men if Cukur starts on Saturday.

Is it okay to bring him off the bench though?

So long as he scores, yeah.  ;)

The game could have been so different if we had had the luck with the two that hit the post in the first quarter of the game had they gone in, the keeper was dead in the water we were very unlucky.
I also like them thought we should have had a penalty in the first half which was given outside the box when to me both were inside the box.
Basically with a bit of luck we could have been four up early doors, whether we deserved to be is a different conversation but could have happened.

Really could do without Crewe games been called off now if we could play that (with our international player in the team) we'd have a chance to build some momentum. Which we badly need.

Hoped we had some after Morcombe and Man City U21s but then we lost and got spanked.

It  is what it is sedwardsdrfc I would also prefer to try and keep the momentum going but at least the  break could benefit our long term injured and the squad strength shortly.

Yes if we can start Taylor, Fej and Olowu in the rearranged fixture it'll be a good cancellation in theory

All in all a great result for the club and the supporters, and especially for all the management team who were starting to come under a bit if pressure.
There certainly didn't look to be anything wrong with the players effort and support for the management today, more wins like this and things will look a lot more settled and the club can move forward, a long run af good results and Hull and Sheffield Wednesday will be sniffing around no doubt.

Not be long Brian before Wednesday will be looking for a new manager. The natives in S6 are getting very restless.

Did Richie get a touchline ban for today's game?

He did. Sent off v Plymouth. He did venture into the technical box a few times today so not sure if he'll get pulled for that.

Like many I don’t see a win at all, and a point at this moment looks like the best we can aim for,
however that would take a lot of energy and physicality to achieve, so I’m going to stick with my original train of thought……

0-4

How Shabby does that forecast look now.

And by ‘the many’ I don’t & never will fit into that category, in fact, I’ll throw a quote in there for you to staple onto your hot tub….

´Never………has so much been owed by so many to so few’.

I know given that formation you forecast you must feel such a fool tonight that you can’t bring yourself to admit it so I know you will ´appreciate’ someone doing it for you…….

´My ´name’ is since-1969 & I am a fool’.

The team obviously upped their game, that’s why we won!

Actually - I've just listened to Richies post match interview and he said he wasn't banned. Think he just chose to take a back seat.

It worked!

Great win, we were lucky and unlucky, only saw the highlights but we hit the post twice in the first half and on another day we could have have a pen awarded against us.

There were some good build ups and combinations, lots of enthusiasm.

I thought he must have been in the stands but then he popped on the touchline

I think he was making a conscious effort to not get on the players backs as much
