I’ve been to hundreds of football matches, home and away. But something happened at Peterborough that was, to me, very special. About halfway through the second half, with the freezing fog descending and the London Rd home crowd somewhat reminiscent of a library, the rovers faithful piped up with a rendition of the. “watching super donny, putting on a show” song. It was a really special moment. It felt like every one of the 1011 were in full voice, in unison. Very loud and very proud. It must have sounded pretty good to the home crowd. Hairs on back of neck neck stuff. It’s moments like that that remind me of why we follow our team. Freezing cold. Under dogs, getting beat away from home. But it doesn’t matter. We stand together. As one. Win lose or draw.
Same when we went a goal down. This season has given me the football buzz back that's been missing for a few years now.
