Could well be a TV game though as local derby too. Good tie for a 1st round

Absolutely no chance this will be on TV. They'll pick non league sides v EFL teams. Unfortunately Scunny aren't a non league side.........yet

More likely to be one of the Sunday games I reckon.

Who do we want then?

Just seen Buxton take the lead late on at York, ex Minsterman and Sheff lad Diego de Girolamo netting that one. So purely on geographical proximity to me, i'd want Buxton or Chesterfield away, who are 3-1 up against Southend so they should go through.

Failing that, a home draw against anyone L2 or below.

So what/who do we want in the second round? For me a home tie would be nice but with current run we’re on with away draws it might be unlikely to happen. But fingers crossed

I don’t think I’m asking a lot - just a home draw!

I'd like Solihull to turn Wigan over so we can get them.

Old school mates with Solihulls captain (who was a big Rovers fan back in the day) so it'd be nice to see him strut his stuff at the Moat.

So we went 11 out of 11 away draws in FA Cup / League Cup

What are the odds on 11 in a row - and - what would be odds of it being 12

I think 10/10 was 1064 [I read on here] so presumably 2128 & 4256 ?

Assumingthe matches are around the december 4th

An away draw would surely set another  record (and a lot of research for dutch uncle) that would mean we are in a run of league and cup matches  where 7 out of 8 matches are away .....

Away to Harrogate.
That would be a very tough game for us. They are very strong at home.
Much more chance of winning at the Keepmoat.

Worst side left at home hopefully. 3rd round money needed for sure.

As much as it would be handy for me I wouldn't fancy us at Town either. Saying that they were poor for an hour, and a goal down, against Wrexham yesterday, but once Simon Weaver made changes and reverted from 4-3-3 to their usual 4-4-2 they were unstoppable and turned the game on it's head with all three substitutes involved in the two goals that won the game.

I was driving to Derby this afternoon and listened to the second half of the Sheff Wed v Plymouth cup game.
At the end, the commentator said that he had been at Scunny v Rovers yesterday and that it had been dull, dull, dull.
He added that the Hillsborough game had been dull, dull, dull and dull, so four dulls against three.
The strange thing was that he didn’t say it was the worst game he had seen.
