Tomorrow's gate ?

Judging from the DROS online ticket count we seem to have sold about 8000, which includes 2600 Mansfield fans.

I think we'll be pushing 9 to 9.5 depending on walk ups.

I did notice at the last home league game there were about 300 in the ticket office queue 5 mins before kick off.

I think the pay on the South Stand gate has gone since Covid. Of course, its always advisable to get there in good time for those without tickets but it's maybe something we need to look at again to reduce the queuing. Perhaps separate ticket sales for the South where its unreserved, from the rest??

I'd imagine not being able to pay on the gate causes the queues i saw against Salford? I got to the ground really late, about 10 to 3 and the queue to collect tickets from the ticket office was huge. Surely some people didn't get into the ground on time?

I remember thinking thank God i have my season card and can just go straight to the turnstile as i wouldn't tolerate queueing in that!

What is now stopping pay on the gate?

Makes things so much easier for people.

Even if it’s just by contactless card machine rather than cash?

The Mansfield site says they can pay at the gate tomorrow, so expect some congestion if sales and ticket collection have to be handled at the same gates.

Yes some people I know didn’t get in until after 3 and were there well in advance. That was just collecting, not buying. Apparently window 3 didn’t open until late on when it was pointed out several times that the queue was massive.

It does put people off

On another note, we should comfortably be able to get 6000-7000 home fans now we are playing winning football again. Anything less is a disgrace to be fair

It might be a stretch considery the cost of luving crisis. It will be interesting to see what happens once the gas and electric bills start dropping this winter.

I think being allowed by the club to pay monthly for a season ticket has helped me massively, as well as the reduced prices this season too. If they took away the facility to be able to pay monthly then i'd no longer be able to get a season ticket and wouldn't go to half the games. So that is a huge help and maybe they should promote that a bit more what with people having less to spend in their pay packets?

I was going to go for 8851 SS but my brother in law just told me he can’t go tomorrow so I will adjust my prediction to 8850.

I’ve seen some very sad news tonight about a legendary member of our fanbase that means that tomorrow’s attendance will be one down from what it should be. So sad.

no it's not.

There's 2 of us hardly ever going now due to the financial climate.

My luving doesn't cost anything. Plus the gas and electric bills will be going up not dropping.

OOOOOOH!! Philsky is 4 off! Great guess Philsky. Today's attendance according to the DRFC twitter page was 8978.

Thought there looked more than that tbh.

A new low for Scunny at home in their defeat to Borehamwood. They now sit bottom 3 points adrift! They are doing a York!

They’ve lost 24 of their last 30 games.
