Were you sporting a Viva Rovers scarf/cravat for the Blackpool game, also some Uni sweater/top, seated around the middle of the pitch under the camera?

Hi Dutch

Seems we're playing well so far... let's hope we take our chances. That's the key.

You MUST be joking! He has these little flashes of brilliance then does absolutely f**k all the rest of the game. Sorry, not good enough for long term at DRFC.

As befits a mid-table side - we become mathematically safe from relegation and mathematically unable to reach the playoffs on the same day

What becomes more obvious to me is the fact it's a very thin line between success and failure in this league.
We need to be more clinical in finishing and work tremendously hard on set pieces for next season. Our overall play is rarely below par... its just that extra bit we're lacking and the ability to concentrate defensively for the whole game. Roll on next season.

Alot more to a game then scoring. He needs to show 100% every game, which he doesn't.

nearly as good a strike rate as Billy Sharp.

He's got that je ne sais quoi

He gets picked by SOD because he's good enough or SOD doesnt know what he's doin. Yeah ????

Maybe he is being picked because there are no other players left to pick.
I'd have him on the bench. He isn't a 90 minute player, and I would rather have a fully fit Woods in the team.

each to their own. Different kinds of players attract different kinds of fans.

Lewis Guy can cover the miles and run his socks off, not score and get booed but JET can roam around the field like he doesnt care, score some beauties and get booed too.

Anyway how did the ref do today ? lol

To be honest thats b*llocks and clearly the commentator doesnt have a clue.

JET put as much effort in as any other Rovers player in each half of the game today. He tracked back, he got in their players faces - no he isnt a natural tackler, but some players arent.

However, he's a talent without a doubt - I hope he's here on a season long loan next term. Rather have him in the side than Wilson to be honest.

Not again another I don't like Wilson fan well hes no flair player not a attacking midfielder, also hes not Stocky, give the lad a chance to get on with his game he\"s picked on every week yes he has lost the ball while in control of it, but it does seem the opperstion still have to pass and go 30 yards further to score every time its WILLO fault .
I don\"t think SO 1 pass giving the ball away in midfield normally has other players how could stop the ball going in the back of the net.ie Defenders /  goalkeepers !

Dont remember saying I didnt like Wilson to be honest.

But in the scheme of things...

Stock is better
Coppinger is better
Woods is better
Shiels is better
Oster is better
JET is better

Pick four from those six leaves Wilson a sub at best.

Better at what?

I can`t see Copps, Woods, Shiels, Oster or Jet being better than Wilson in the holding role, however, I can see those being better in the more forward midfield roles. It`s all about perceptions, you see the eyecatching stuff but ignore the bread and butter stuff!

Thing is, I notice he gets alot of the bread and butter stuff wrong as well? And I would pick Oster, and shiels infact, alongside Stock in a holding role over Wilson every day of the week.
