The good old National Vaccination Service! It seems to have merged with the National Covid Service. Lord knows what happened to the National Health Service though.

All great BB. But 6 months ago nearly 27 million people had had the second jab. So there are still nearly 8 million people who are 6 months in and haven't had the booster. That's the worry.

I was booked in for the booster at Scunny on Monday but have cancelled it now. If you ring our local docs the message is you must go to a mass vaccination centre via the NHS website. I called in the docs last might and asked at the counter and they said yes it's fine to get it done at Owston Ferry! I booked in straight away, so i don't have to stand in a queue of mekons for an hour in Scunthorpe and probably get covid in the process. I can't think why the surgery would have a message saying you can't get jabbed on the isle when in reality you can. This will only put people off getting jabbed having being wrongly told they must go to Scunthorpe and the like.

It’s self policed, so not strictly enforced, having said that from walking through th door to jab was about 2 minutes

That's good. It's just i've heard mixed reviews about the Ironstone so i'd rather wait a week and go to Ferry instead.
