Next signing announcement

Seeing as Ryan is into "firsts"  and wanting to make the most of publicity of signings could the next signing be announced first on here with the news that the player will be sponsored by the VSC .Most clubs don't have much of a relationship with clubs forums(but how many forums sponsor players?).This would be a first as far as i'm aware,fan engagement

I think he is too. I've previously raised the point that we shouldn't lose sight of other mediums of communication/marketing. Circa 100k of our twitter followers are 1d fans after all. But the thing is all major football news outlets basically communicate with each other in one big circle on twitter now, so if we want to get news out there quickly, its the best way of doing it.

Just need to point out this forum doesn't sponsor any players, the VSC (supporters trust) do.

I think he's very savvy on the comms front and great he's using good humour when too often things are taken too seriously.

Our communications team at the minute is imply brilliant and obviously have the backing of the board and Gavin to communicate things in a slightly adhoc and funny manner!!

After a bit of a bumpy start with not communicating with South Stand ticket holders, or anyone else, about the final decision to make the South Stand unreserved, I think Ryan has done a great job with the website and social media, and look forward to seeing things continue to improve over the course of the season
