Title: The Intake Stands and Facilities
Post by: AlonzoDrake on November 19, 2017, 01:58:01 pm
This view of the Intake Stadium's facilities also dates from the 1909 carnival held on the ground, and was published as a postcard by Edgar Scrivens that year. It shows the changing rooms at the left, the press box in the centre, and the chicken coop stand at the right. Behind those facilites lie Town Moor Avenue and the Intake Farm which gave the ground its name. The Racecourse end of the ground is at the right, and the town end lies to the left. The photographer has his back to the main stand.

Not much in that squad. No wonder the poor buggers had to keep applying for re-election.
