A very good player and goalscorer.
Do you remember us beating them (BPA) 6-2 and Hector got both of their goals ?

Wasn't it 5-2 hound?
I seem to remember us scoring two or three late goals against them in the last ten minutes once.
I think the last goal was at the town end, a ball floated across from the pop side. King Alick was there and stood looking to all the world that he was shaping to head it back across the keeper when he took it on his chest and volleyed it in as it dropped leaving me speechless for a few seconds.

Tricky tie at Webbedfeet ....Gravesend that was!

Less attractive to TV than East Thurrock.

Interesting old world main stand;

Not sure about the wobbly roof on the new stand their Kuwaiti owners have built.

Ebsfleet it is. Potential for a banana skin but realistically I EXPECT we will get the job done.

Hope we do !

I hoe the Management on and off the field "strive" for us to make Round 3 without fail. Another day for the fans a la Arsenal would be good BUT the financial rewards would or should be greater and should not be overlooked

OK I realise we may not get a "plum" draw in R3

There are Teams that prioritise their League ambition for that Season far too early in certain Cups. Oh we are after promo to Premiership and so will field a weakened Team in FLC & FA Cup 3rd Round and if we get knocked out we can keep on track

Ditto the Team that is looking downwards - they do the same. This was not what it was like when I was a lad and I cant see the logic now and hope we DONT do that because there is a real virtuous circle in having a Cup run.

I expect t'management has decided we should go hell for leather for a good cup run. It now seems that we have little chance of flirting with the play offs this season. A big focus on getting through the rounds makes financial sense to the club, it will improve fan interests throughout the season and increase gates even in the league games. A good third or fourth round draw may add enough to the coffers to strengthen the squad.
