Good luck Rovers
« on May 10, 2024, 07:53:05 am by Upton Rover »
Feeling mixed emotions today, really unhappy that I’m going to miss tonight’s game due to pre booked Benidorm holiday, I’ve found my bar to watch the game. I want to wish the team and all you fans good luck and enjoy, Come on you Reds

Never ever book a holiday in April or May.
Just in case we do what we have done this season and in many others.

Let’s face it we don’t do very many uninteresting end to seasons do we.
Since our return to the league in 2002/3 only seasons 2004/5, 2008/9, 2009/10, 2014/15, 2017/18, 2019/20, 2022/23 have we not been involved in a promotion or play challenge or a relegation fight.
I include 2006/07 as we were in JPT Final on 1st April but only finished 11th that season as our form dropped off in 2nd half of the season

That’s just 7 seasons in the last 22 have we not been involved at the right end of the table or the wrong end of the table or a JPT Cup Final.

So don’t book holidays in April or May.   :that:

We're going on the NC500 at the end of May. Checked and double checked the dates before booking time off etc, all the way back in February. Never once genuinely believed we'd be here back then but there was always a chance and that's all you need.

My wife booked ours back in January as a surprise to cheer me up from all the Rovers ‘doom& gloom’.

Lovely weather here in Mallorca.

Back in time for the final though!

Will be travelling through Donny at 100 mph at 4pm. What a pisser, have to go to my best friends daughters wedding in London tomorrow.

Would have got off the train and gone to the match, but only train down to London arrives at KX about 2 am.

But just to show confidence have already booked my flights to London for Wembley.

Can I just add my good luck to you guys tonight, just don’t lose concentration as Wanderers did against the Tykes the other night and nearly blew it. I’m sure you’ll be fine so just enjoy the night and look forward to a Wembley visit then back to L1.

You’re a good lad or lass? Frankie. Thank you! Could do without your drama as it got a bit tense…. Well done to Bolton getting through, all the best to ya…

Ha, definitely a lad Spain, although these days are we still allowed to confirm that or should I be using pronouns??

Anyway, it’s a lovely night for footy match so let’s hope the performance and the result are as good for Donny. Best of luck mate.
