Blackburn's longest-serving player David Dunn is expected to return to the squad after training all week following a hamstring problem.

Goalkeeper Paul Robinson is also expected to keep his place but midfielder Dickson Etuhu, who has an ankle problem, remains absent.

Doncaster midfielder Richie Wellens signed a new contract this week and should feature.

And defender Bongani Khumalo and striker Billy Paynter are fit again.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Doncaster won the earlier meeting this season 2-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium in August. It was only their second win in 19 league meetings and the first league meeting since 1958.
Doncaster have never won in 10 meetings at Blackburn in all competitions, drawing three and losing seven.

Blackburn

Blackburn have lost only one of their last seven games in all competitions, winning three.
Blackburn have kept five clean sheets in their last ten games in all competitions, though none in their last three.
Blackburn have not won any of their last three games at home in all competitions.

Doncaster

Doncaster have lost six of their last seven games in all competitions, drawing one.
Doncaster have not won any of their last eight games in all competitions. Their last win was 2-1 at home against QPR in the Championship in late November.
Doncaster have scored only two goals in their last six league games. They have conceded 14 goals in the same period.

Pleased to see Marc De Val getting a start. Hopefully will allow Wellens to play further up the field.

We'll probably go for it second half so let's hope they don't get another as that could open the flood gates.

New pairing at the back, midfield and upfront so expectation was not good.

Beginning to wonder if there will be 22 players on the pitch at the end?

Double sub: Duffy/Peterson on for Forrester/Husband

Edit: Now Cotterill on for McCullough as well

We're OK lads. DJ Campbell has come in to chuck the match.

Football morals eh? In any other profession, he would be let nowhere near his workplace.

It's just not going for us is it, sounds like we had a right go in the second half, disappointed we lost naturally, but encouraged that we made a game of it and sounds like we had Blackburn hanging on at the end

Sounds like a much improved performance - and at least we only lost by one! Am I clutching at straws?  :s

19 goals in 24 is piss poor, let's be honest.

I don't think we're really as attacking as we're made out to be, are we?

WTF has that got to do with todays game?  Looks like we were competing and creating chances in the 2nd half...

Create all the chances you want but unless you're converting them to goals you may as well not bother. Now in the bottom three with the (equal) worst GD in the league. Shameful.

Because we failed to score yet again.

Just did not happen for Rovers today in the final third. Plenty of nice link-up play at times but very few chances created #drfc
