Still incredibly scrappy for both sides - we are giving the ball away on the edge of their area far too much. Blackpool have just missed the chance of the game, scuffed it about 8 yrds out.

Who cares now?  :bscarf:

If it was full time nobody would care but if we don’t raise our game there’s every chance Blackpool could get back into this.

I’m optimistic we’ll do better in the second half though.

What? I thought it kicked off at 7pm? 🤭

Kane hits the bar with a 20 yard free kick..

The foul was on Wilks who had turned the last defender, surely that should have been a red card.?

Good win that..

Sponsors gave MotM to Kane, and he was excellent.. my MotM would be Butler, never gave their forwards a sniff and a great clean sheet fur the defence..

Thought Whiteman had a great game as well.

On that performance hard to see how Blackpool had won 5 on the spin

I am still not aware of a reason why Anderson was booked.
He went in for a low header and the Blackpool player tried to kick the ball.
There was just a coming together of players, Anderson got a kick in the head.
I don’t even think it could have been called as a foul by either player but the ref gave Blackpool a free kick and got the yellow card out.

I think the rules say something about going too low to head a ball is or can be deemed dangerous play.
Stupid I know but it's up to the ref to interpret it sensibly.
