Interestingly, of the two league goals they have managed at home this season, both were the opening goals of the game (against Swindon, and Crewe) and of course in both games they ended up losing. Suffice to say if we do concede, they don’t appear especially robust. Albeit in the Swindon game they did have someone subsequently sent off.

Away form probably reflected in getting a ginsters pasty from services

Wood touch and go for Saturday. Two other unnamed players potentially out. Taylor is also making “slow progress” on his return from a knee injury. Close might be playing Saturday.

If Close is ready this weekend I bet any decent midfielder and the manager of Forest Green are rubbing their hands us having a soft patsy in there.

Or earmarking him for a friendly tackle or three ( if it takes that many )

They have been a poor team for quite a while, it’s difficult for them to compete at this level. We should be doing better but have been just as poor. Time to forget excuses and go out there and get the win.

Yes ... the lowest populated place ever to join the EFL with just over 6500 population , and that's Nailsworth with Forest Green being a suburb of Nailsworth I think

Goole for competitive purposes 21500 and Goole Town !

They are Rushden and Diamonds aren’t they? Tiny place only viable as a professional club due to massive owner subsidy. They are NLS level without Dale Vince.

Maybe slightly unjustified. Seem to remember they were a steady Conference team before his influence. Unless he's been there longer than I've known about.
