Cricket county championship

Been 34 matches completed so far.

27 draws, nearly all due to time lost to weather.

Must be one of the wettest Springs on record.

Coming after a very wet winter and a wet autumn, it's not good news for agriculture.

Many fields are still sodden and yields are going to be down. More food inflation on the horizon.

Jeremy Clarkson appeared in the Guardian saying he now believes in climate change. Of course. He's noticing how it's affecting farming and it's now hitting him personally in the pocket. So now it's a problem...

Though he still doesn't drive an electric vehicle and owns a fleet of V8s. He says not to worry science will solve the problem... Maybe, with innovations like battery electric cars, Jeremy!

Eventually Clarkson will realise we've been in a Right Wing Kitson crisis for decades and he'll f**k off.

Yet in the better months there’s hardly any championship games due to the t20 and Hundred tournaments.  I don’t get that at all - much of the time it’s different players anyway, so why not play county championship fixtures in parallel.?
