Referee: Keith Stroud.
Assistants: Andrew Halliday & Joe Hull.
4th: Nigel Miller.
FA Cup appointments have been released very early this year. Keith Stroud is currently injured so this one is subject to change.
-
I hope he recovers otherwise Nigel Miller could get the game.
-
I think Miller will remain 4O. This game is going to get either a Select Group referee or one on the fringes of the SG, which Stroud is. He's done a couple of Premier League games this season.
Personally I find Stroud rather fussy and card happy, although I do remember him as one of the better referees in our Conference days.
-
I can never find the appointments for the FA Cup, even on the FA website.

I voted 2 points and that might be too high
Once again we see inconsistency between Refs because raising the hands in the way they Wollschild did SHOULD imo have resulted in a Red Card ... and almost all Refs would have sent him off
Had Andy Williams done that to him (roles reversed so to speak) I feel sure it would have been a Red
However was Nathan Tyson fortunate with what looked like a bit of retribution ?

Seemed to favour the Prima Donnas of the premiership in any 50/50 decisions.
-
A referee with a bad case of Big club syndrome, that wolfchoil or whatever his name is should have seen red in the first half, denied a nailed on pen and Crouch's goal looked offside
-
Very poor start but improved a bit as the game went on. He got two big decisions wrong for me. Wollschild should have been booked for pushing Williams which would have meant a second yellow for the foul a few minutes later. Then he missed a penalty when Alcock was dragged back.
I can accept he may not have had a good view of the penalty incident and could have been helped by his assistant who was poor throughout.

His Assistant was a Cardboard cutout on West Stand.
-
Could give him only a 1 as he chickened out of making the big decisions that cost us at least a replay and a few quid in the bank

A little man with a big team attitude
