Alan Fahy 1973-2016
« on February 03, 2017, 10:05:44 am by The Red Baron »
I have only just learned that former DRFC player Alan Fahy died on 23rd September 2016 in Liverpool.

Born on 27th January 1973 he played for Witton Albion and Barrow before joining Rovers in March 1997. He made five appearances, all as a substitute. He later played for Droylsden.

He later worked in the construction industry and his body was found on a Balfour Beatty site in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. His death was described as unexplained at the time.

RIP Alan Fahy.

From memory, I believe that Rovers should have paid Barrow a transfer fee but never paid up !
