Man utd fans shouted from the roof tops that it was Mickey Mouse cup when they was at top of their tree for 20 odd years along with the league or milk cup .

Now since they have won both this season they are claiming a great season on the back of it.

Ok it had given them a champs league slot through the back door .i recall when united fans were hitting champs league position for top slot in league one mocking lpool fans season in season out.

Then when lpool hit champions league via a top 4 place in prem they still slagged off lpool of whoever by claiming that CL should only go to top teams in each country's leagues.

Yes United should have finished in the top four, but winning this competition now gives entry into the Champions league so why would you not be in raptures. You win a trophy and qualify. So now 5 teams to get knocked out of the Champions league at different stages.
