Peterborough say they want to talk to him. Strikes me as though they are trying to avoid paying Mansfield compo.
The only consolation for Mansfield is that their food bill will fall dramatically.
-
Yes but Peterborough’s food bill will quadruple.
-
At least Mansfield will be able to launch their own diet plan now.
"How to get rid of 20st. of unsightly fat in a day."
-
Fatty appointed Peterborough manager.
-
A clear case of tapping up if there ever was one
-
Leave the poor bloke alone. He's had a lot on his plate over the years.

but evans car mileage will counter this PERHAPS he might be able to cycle to work (believe it or not you can claim car mileage even if u ride a bike) -- by the way Mansfield had lost a mere 6 league matches this season the same as Luton -- my bank manager is right pi$$ed off by his decision to leave to put it mildly
-
Any manager that quits should not be aloud to take another job for at least 6 weeks , this is a clear case of you quit we will pay you more as no compensation is due not like Evans at all only thing missing in the story is a brown paper bag was handed over
-
Why? it's only like resigning at work for a better paid job elsewhere.

Agreed, what is wrong with improving your personal circumstances.
-
difference is you have to give notice and at management level you cannot just quit and walk into another job the day after

People do though.
I have done it myself at Director level in the past.

Depends on the terms of your contract. I would assume that as football clubs often sack managers without serving a notice period, then they can quit with no notice too?
-
Football is a funny game. Demands loyalty from managers and players to the club. but will happily throw them onto the scrap heap instantly.
I think the blokes a bellend of the highest order but fair play to him no-one else will look after him!
-
Fat he may be. bellend he might be but he is a good manager at this level

the way that Mansfield got the Swindon manager Flitcroft - (who always used to go on about human beings on radio da da ) so quickly -- makes you wonder ?? remember to my amazement fatty did hold talks with Gillingham earlier in the season -- (must have had a contingency target)
wonder wot the odds are for the sacked Peterbru manager to get the Swindon job --
could then call this railway management as in "all change" please
:suicide: :suicide:

what a co-incidence or NOT
a pair of Americans have just bought half the club - no details at the moment which half
(big plans as usual)
