Who did you book through? I can only find £40 each?..
-
Booked it though the national rail site , keep your eye on it as it's going up and down price wise As the ones I bought today kept changing price
-

time train you on???8.32 and 19.23??
-
Same price today, I thought I'd be early enough to get them cheaper than that
-
I usually get train tickets from https://www.virgintrainseastcoast.com/ and they aren't available for the Barnet game on there yet. Generally pay between 10 and 15 quid each way, quite often ends up being on Grand Central which doesn't stop anywhere other than Kings Cross. I'd just keep an eye on that for when they go on sale.

Cheers Dave
-
They've gone too expensive on sites now, £234.80 for 4x return tickets.
Another option is to wait for the Megabus to become available (Sheffield-London), sometimes you can get cheap train fares to St.Pancras 👍
-
Just looked on the East Coast website, you can book up to Friday 13th for about £15-£20 each way on some services. To me that suggests that you can get tickets tomorrow, I recommend checking back first thing in the morning and you should be able to get a bargain.
-
It's been open for bookings up to Friday all week, so no guarantee for tomorrow or even this week.
For the previous week there are only deals on unpopular train times.
-
Gone on east coast today, managed to get £31 return, missed out on £26 return literally by seconds I had them in my basket then when I went to confirm transaction they'd been sold.
-
I've just booked 4x return for £90.20. Better than £234.80!. Be another new ground for me too!.
Metropolitan line to Jubilee line by the looks of it too. Getting off at Canons Park (zone 5) with a 10 minute walk to the ground.
-
Got 2 from Darlington but nowhere as cheap as previous London trips.
-
Definitely not as cheap as usual, although did hear of some getting returns for £20.
Discount given for my railcard was pitiful too - £26 reduced to £23, normally get approx 30% off
-
Newcastle are playing away at Brentford the same day, that's why the fares could be so dear
-
We got 12 today dearest being about £23 each
-
What is best source for tickets please guys
-
I ended up using thetrainline.com mate
06.32 out get to London at 8.30 am
Leave London at 8.30 pm £31 return, prices vary dependant on what time you want to leave/arrive
-
I hope people are aware of the train ticket spliter tool. Works very often on the Donny London line. (I.e. Booking separate singles to and from Peterborough often works out cheaper than a single ticket)

If you look on the back of your ticket it shows 2 tube stations which are near by
-
And what if he hasn't a ticket yet
