That was satisfying...

Great win for us today. Quite a few folks bemoaned the first half performance but I actually felt we did ok against a team of big f**kers who clearly didn’t come to play football. Clattered our lads to stop momentum building every time they ran at them.

Referee was very lax and amazed it took until 43 minutes for the yellow card to come out... Copps was hit every time.

Sterling wasn’t ready for that type of game. He’s got something but needs to adjust.

Rotherham goal was poxy and it was never a free kick.

Second half - right changes made. Totally dominant. Could have had 5 but for a number of very good saves by their keeper. I can’t remember Lawlor being really tested.

Ennis - Great when he came on. Strong, mobile.

This team has some quality. And Darren Moore - spot on again making those changes.

Happy camper.

You have to feel for Sterling, the part games I have seen him play in we have played long and high balls to him, added to the fact we were bang average in that first half, no movement whatsoever. That is not his game...
Rotherham are a decent side, built for Championship football, did they have a player below 6x6...flipping giants.
Once we started to pass the ball, and move our own players around, we battered them.
Ennis the menace is far too good, the best player I have seen at this level.

Agree it wasn't the game for Sterling & credit to Darren for changing it at ht (although he claimed on dee dar Sterling came off due to a dead leg).
Game was crying out for a grafter/hassler up top, Ennis did a great job.

Anderson the Rock ,James the Jinker ( jinks down that wing he does ) both played ever so well and Ennis has such class .
This hurly burly stuff provides a steep learning curve for the loanees and Cameron will learn quickly when to clear instead of holding the ball in tight positions with the opponent on his heels .I would not say that a Sterling is not ready for this type of game but we did not play the ball into space for him to run onto in that first half so he could not play HIS game .
Well played every one of those lads today again .

Ennis is some player. Mix of Marquis hard work, graft and hassle, and Wilks speed, dribbling and directness.

Ennis reminded me a bit of Billy Sharp I  the way he played.

Reall got going after HT with Ennis on and then (as above) we kicked on further when Sadlier came on

No wilts, it says that Sterling gave away a free kick.
He didn’t, the Rotherham player stood on the ball and fell over.

Yep never a foul in a billion years - even if the Ref indicated a chop tackle.

Ive given him 2 but that may be generous

Overall result deserved so if BBC says that they are right
