Don't know if this is the right section but was just wondering if there's a problem on this websites shop? Had a browse as I want a new mug but I can't find the one I had my eye on a bit back. Techy problem or sold out?

I found the shop, just not the mug I was after. Followed your link and it's still not on there?

This one? (Hope the picture worked). Saw it a while back and I like it. Full of Leeds at work so it'll wind them up

I got the ceefax style one Nathan, from the play-off final vs Leeds.

One of my work colleagues - who is actually in our mini-group tea round - is a Leeds fan.  He makes me a coffee every day in this mug!

It should be Donny Whites mugs at the end of the line - swinging from it.

We need to Re-Stock

I would imagine that OXO was copyrighted or a registered trade mark.

So the Weeds fans were upset by us using the OXO Trademark then?

Not when the only one you want has just been taken off sale with an explanation that Doncaster based Leeds fans didn't like it.

Do it yourself! There's plenty of websites and shops where they will print a photo/pic of your choice on a mug, just knock a similar design together yourself and you'll get one made for a tenner.

The real reason the mug was taken off-sale is we were asked by the owners of OXO to take the mug off sale as it breached copyright, which we of course complied with. Rob Ghosh knew this, so it must have been him or one of his friends that alerted the manufacturing company to the fact.

Shame really as it could have made quite a bit for charity over time.

It seems reasonable to assume that, as our Local Village Idiot stupidly posted that he knew the reason was breach of copyright when only the VSC board knew of the letter from OXO stating this, he was either the instigator or a close associate of the instigator.   :ermm:

Because I knew it got taken down for copyright (dangerous). Any other questions on my posts = 10 post moderation.

That good enough for you Tony? As the fact that mug had been taken of sale had yet to be communicated to VSC members never mind the general public, the only people who KNEW about it being taken off sale were the VSC Directors and whoever was responsible for writing the letter. If Mr Gosh didnt write it - then he is in very close contact with whoever did.

Aren't you the guy who posted the photo making fun of one of our eldery fans on Facebook btw? Proud of yourself are you?

Thinking about it they did you a massive favour, breaching copyright naughty naughty.... yes I posted the pic, simply witnessed a fan asleep, which I'm sure there are 1000's of similar on social media sites, no malice no snide remarks from me n for the record I'm not proud of the pic... lighting was all wrong think my ISO setting was a little low
