I gather they were also going to "light up the sky" by firing up 4200 ancient beacons.

I see that went well.

Is the Brexit Death Cult still certain there's be violence in the streets if we didn't leave? Cos, like, we DIDN'T leave and it looks remarkably like no-one gives a f**k.

And then this. The pathos is almost tangible.

Ignite The Rebellion! They DID it! Raised the stunning total of £2,700 in just 15 days!

Historians of revolutions will look back on this moment with awe. The silent majority deciding it...can't be f**king arsed.

Who's "they"?

Sorry Bpool.

I've just seen that update saying that the demos were cancelled.

The update was posted the day before the demos were planned so that gave plenty of warning.

The update gives several meandering reasons for the cancellation, among them the fact that they couldn't organise a website and the fact that "the Crowdfunder unfortunately only raised enough funds to hire 3 coaches - bringing a mere 150 people to Westminster."

Oh aye. And speculation that the police might have stopped them demonstrating anyway. Which is odd, because I'm sure the police have never ever broken up a demo that no-one could be arsed to attend.

But it's ok. Jay Beecher who started that Crowdfunder has promised that he'll keep the money safe. So that's good.

I wonder what he did with his other Crowdfunders? He seems to have something of a track record of raising Crowdfunder money for projects that don't actually do anything.

If you believe that, it's probably the most delusional post you've ever made on here.

I don't do beliefs SS.

I do evidence.

By the way, I do hope your post isn't suggesting that you'd approve of violence if the democratic process led to Brexit being stopped?

How on Earth can you do evidence on something that hasn't happened yet? Has Article 50 been revoked?

And where's the evidence that my post suggests I approve of violence?

Your posts are beginning to slip a little in substance.

Give over Scawsby.
The thing was cancelled because hardly anybody could be arsed to turn up.
It doesn't augur well for any form of civil unrest, whatever happens.

SS in that case, why in God's name would they have announced a programme of civil disobedience.

I note you don't explicitly say that you're against violence, but I'll assume you are.

Did Mark Francois say there would be violence if we didn't leave on the 31st, or is it just scaremongering?

Farage said he would 'don khaki, pick up a rifle and head for the front lines' if Brexit wasn't delivered. He had Union Jack socks on for his interview with Marr this morning, must be waiting for the rest of the uniform to come back from the tailors'.

Guys, guys; you really must brush up on your semantics. What on Earth has a  rally to promote a political party got to do with a civil unrest protest?

Like I've said before, forget about stupid marches and protests. Just get down to the polling station and vote for what you want. If your beloved Labour Party gets a majority, I'll congratulate you.

I'll also congratulate you if you win the Lottery.

Just saying, like.

It is actually one of the reasons the organiser gave for cancelling the rally - he believes the police were planning to stop them because they 'promote civil disobedience'.

It's on the link Billy gave if you wish to check.

The only evidence of any relevance to anyone will be on the 12th of December.

Have a nice week.x

Why, where's the massive non-rally that's not taking place on 12th December going to not be at then?

That's you, a person who said you could never support the Tories, looking forward to the Tories winning is it SS?

Almost as if the other side losing is all that matters.

I thought you only dealt with evidence. Where is the evidence that I'm looking forward to the Tories winning, or that I think they will win? I've said before that I think it will be another hung parliament, though I could be wrong.

I've also said that I've no respect for any of those clowns in Westminster. This has been a dysfunctional, paralysed, zombie Parliament that has shown no respect whatsoever for the people of this country.

As for the Labour Party, I, and most people I know, won't vote for them again.
