He's gone to Tadcaster on loan.

I would have thought that for a goalkeeper the level at which he plays on loan is less important than for an outfield player.

Also maybe better to be playing in a struggling team than one that's top of the league.

Fergie was saying he'd rather get youngsters out on loan and playing against men rather than worrying that the level wasn't high enough.

Got two young keepers ahead of him in Marosi and Lawlor, and I can't see him wanting to be third choice.

He can still play in the development games,so the more games he gets under his belt the better.

He's a youngster he has plenty of time to develop and if he doesn't want to be third choice it's up to him to prove he's better than the two in front

He may well make it as a professional, but I don't think that's going to be here. He's highly rated from what I'm told but it's just a shame for him that the two people in front of him are so close to his age as it'll limit his chances of even making the bench here long term.

Thing is
If he's good then we'll be more likely to let marosi go in a couple of years
There's not many goalies at 18 anywhere near the first team

I believe he will develop into a good keeper, will loads of loans to keep him busy and the level he's at he will get games.

Or if Lawlor does well he may get sold.

He may look though and think that both Lawlor and Marosi are in the middle tier of keepers. Not troubling the Sullivan/Johnstone/Warrington level but equally not in the Blayney/Nielsen/Etheridge category. Particularly with Ferguson who is absolutely brutal when it comes to axing keepers.

He'll not dislodge Ingham who's an excellent keeper at Taddy. So he'll be benchwarming anyway.

It is just part of the plan to get all the young lads out for game time in mens football.

Presumably these lads are still training every day with Rovers, just going out on a matchday.

Jones at Taddy, Longbum at Kiddy, Walker and Fielding have just extended at Biggleswade until January, Fletcher and Townrow at Spalding....its all about game time.

Go on then, why? what's rubbish about thinking a young goalkeeper who's behind two other young goalkeepers in the pecking order probably won't make it with us? or is that the only thing you can actually say, because you don't like my opinion?
