Might not have scored or had any assists today but talk about doing your job quietly and efficiently. He seems to have grown in stature as the season has gone on, would love to get him on a season long loan for next year
-
Pele in disguise?
-
There was a bit near the end of the game when he was tussling with their lad, outmuscled him and won a free kick. Their lad kicked the ball at him in frustration and got booked.
He’s sensational.
-
The linchpin.
-
Need to be in League One to have a chance of this. He's proven at this level, now Spurs would want to prove him at a higher level.
Unless...the lad decides to move to a new club to get full time games...now there's an idea!
-

Better than Pele apparently!
-
This is a bit like last time McCann was here. If we had gone up to Championship then Marquis would have stayed and we would likely have signed Wilks, Kane and Downing.
If we did by chance end up getting into League One next season, you could imagine Molyneux, Adelakun and TLT signing contracts. Perhaps then Craig coming on a further season loan.

Can't see it. League one? Possibly. If I were Tottenham I would either be looking to bleed him into the first team (Carling cup, Eastern European cup games) or loan him back out to a championship club.

I read hes out of contract at the end of the season. Spur will have to decide what they are going to do with him
-
He’s really excellent and was outstanding again today.

I thought he still had two years left on his deal with Spurs.
-
If he is out of contract we need to be in the drivers seat, I doubt Mcann will let this opportunity pass DRFC by.
He is simply superb, and I think the biggest reason for our upturn - he controls everything.
-
Lo-Tutala and Craig will know each other well having been in the same age group in the Spurs youth set up for several years, until Lo-Tutala left in 2022.
-
At Spurs for another 2 years.

I read recently , maybe on here , they gave him a "long term" Contract. I said I'm not surprised as he is a great little Player and has improved along with all the others
I usually call for him to be MOTM but I suppose Adelakun or Molly were probably easier to choose than MC
-
Matty Craig been my MoM for the last 2 games

He signed a 4 yr contract with Spurs last summer.
How much would the want for him?
They may value him at at least 500k.
-
League Two: no chance
League One: slight chance.
I think we can rule a permanent transfer out completely!

In the IMHO unlikely event they would countenance selling him, their payoff would be more likely in a very hefty percentage of a sell-on fee.

First couple of games I couldn't see it but he got taken out the team for a match or two and since he's come back in he has been so impressive. Like others have said we stand no chance unless we can pull of the miracle of promotion. That said, I do believe that in McCann we have someone capable of sourcing the next Herbie Kane, Matty Craig etc....
-
Reminds me a lot of Brian Stock and keeping in mind how highly most of us would rate him and how young Craig is I can't pay him much higher praise. He is already a Scotland under 21. When he breaks into Scotland full team he will be in it for years.Still hoping for a season long loan next season if we are in L1.
-
I remember when we signed Matt Mills on loan, thought we’d not got a snow drops chance in hell of getting him permanently Then we did ! Just saying… you never know.
-
You would hope that our recruitment team would have been negotiating with Spurs already to try & get a season long loan for next season. It would be criminal if they hadn't.

300k plus hefty wages.
-
Get that Copps, but for that he contributed massively to the team’s success and then we cashed back in ! Was it Reading ? Speculate v Accumulate ! However it’s not my brass.
-
I doubt we will see him back here next season, regardless of the league we are in.
-
In my post earlier in this thread I said Craig had signed a 4 yr contract with Spurs last summer.
Now that is second hand info. It was what I read on this forum some time ago & took it as fact.
It may not be.
Anyway if we go up we must have a chance of signing him for another season.
If we don’t it’s unlikely.
-
He's under contract with Spurs until 2026.

I thought I had the right information.

He looks quicker on his feet than Stock and a bit more sophisticated or should I say less reliant on physicality (admittedly at this level). What Spurs might want above all else is for him to have regular starts and if we do go up League 1 that would be surely be a suitable level.
