I was watching a documentary on youtube last night Rock Family Trees it was about the evolution of the Merseybeat and how most  of the bands were intertwined through personel changes, Gerry Marsden was on it explaining how You’ll Never Walk Aline got to be the kop anthem

No his band was The Pacemakers, he wasn't in The Merseybeats  :coat:
