Finnegan the  new McIndoe .....who would be your choice as best ever product of our youth teams .I show my ' seniority ' and nominate Alick Jeffrey ahead of ian Snodin.

the best Donny Boys team got to the English schools final ( against Brierley Hill) and they all joined the Rovers Juniors in the Northern Intermediate League the year after . I was lucky enough to play in that team with them in 1958 and 59. The best of those players were Johnny Billings and Fairhurst . Rovers coaches at the time were very poor and they developed nobody.

That E-byheckerslike is good for you!

Sounds okay, a bit like listening to the current first team - we sound like a panther ready to pounce.

ended up getting roped into bloody trick or treating duty with the nephew so didn't make it - I wish I'd used the match as the trick (or treat!) ;)

good stuff - be interesting to see what Willie's boys are like, could end up making us a few bob yet :P

Does Dean live that way? Maybe partly why he's there. Better not to play for your dad anyway!
