With Blackpool just winning against Luton to get to Wembley and there fans have been boycotting home games , do you think they will come out in force for there trip to London and can you see them organising a massive protest while they are they
-
If they was true to their cause they on the sea front lashing donkeys ,or on the pleasure beach or even lashed up in the tower lounge or even watching the game in the castle pub in blackpool ,when the tangerines are at wembley.
-
Well it's not a home game lol
-
I'll be seeing Andy from the Blackpool trust later today. I'll ask him.

the tower lounge is now a chippy
-
For me it would be a great way to show the F.A what they have been going through , problem is would they get any banners or anything into the ground to do a protest on mass against there owners
-
There message board is in meltdown over it
-
According to the Blackpool trust they are expecting less than 10,000 to attend. Their last two Wembley appearances had circa 36k and 32k. They're hoping that big empty spaces send some kind of message.
-
Don't know the full ins n out about the whole Blackpool thing but there board seem to have given them a decent budget this year and they are back on the up so don't get all the hate at the club all the time ?
-
Their there is a lesson here....
-
Anton123 the owners may have spent alittle money but took a lot more out , I remember in the early days they got wind of the area been developed so loaned money from the club to themselves and bought the land for a Cool 1 million about 4 years later they sold the land to the travelodge for 15 million and also taking fans to court and suing them

They were in the top flight 4/5 years ago, and their owners (one of whom is a convicted rapist) have sued fans just for expressing themselves on a message board.

I was hoping Luton would stuff them but I'll settle Exeter doing it .
-
I know we never turned up but Exeter were best side I have seen at KMS this season
Hope they win similar story to us really
-
I don't, already got Plymouth and Pompey to look forward to visiting, don't need another absolute trek...

when we played them away they were very good , there fans were coming out of the ground saying the manager needed to go we may have won that day but gods know how
-
I'd rather Blackpool go up so we get another day at the seaside to be honest.. but I do think Exeter are the best team to finish outside of the top 3 and probably do deserve promotion.

Blackpool have sold 5700 tickets for there trip to Wembley, wow even I through 15k but not this must show the F.A more than a mass protest what they feel about the owner, but then again the F.A don't have an issue with the new owners of Forest and he his under investigation for match fixing in Greece
-
Good to hear should be funny to see 5700 spread across 40000 seats
-
Lets be honest, the FA won't give a toss. They have no interest in the plight of clubs in the lower leagues and all they really care about is revenue and how to market the national team to pay off the monstrosity that is Wembley

The EFL care though.

Do they? Really?

Yes I think they do but there is only so much control they can have over privately owned businesses.

Talking to a Blackpool fan yesterday at a programme fair in leeds says that the town gave the players a great send off with supporter's lining the M55
-
Not sure it was a massive send off, there was 2 people at the ground and at a guess around 20 near the motorway, last time they played there was about 1k
-
Just won 2-1 Potts and Cullen
-
Ollie Watkins - worth a punt?
-
I'd certainly hope we'd finish above them Bally
-
Yes, an away journey that is not too far, Ollie missed and absolute sitter with a heade.near the end, missed the goal....We have enough forwards already who cab do that as they have proved all season.
-
Off that game only you would go no where near Watkins, to greedy never got passed the 1st man and couldn't head it, but he might well have been amazing for the rest of the season
-
Very true, doubt if he would leave sunny Devon for the cold in the north, one thing I always remembered as a youngun. How suntanned the Torquay players always were
-
Would give us that something different
-
Potts still looks class
-
Ollie Watkins - worth a punt?
Barnsley have been after him for a while.
-
Mark Cullen would suit us, annoying, gets in the right places such as the winner yesterday, can play out on the right, can cross a ball and reads the game well.
-
That last minute 'out of the box' penalty awarded by Mr Boyeson has now gained great significance for Blackpool - without it they would not have been in the playoffs.
