One from the same site, hope this one is true!!
Doncaster Rovers are close to agreeing a fee with Sheffield United for striker Billy Sharp. The possible transfer will involve an immediate fee of roughly £750,000 with the possibility of it reaching £1, 200,000 based on appearances, goals and league position.
Doncaster Rovers are also hopefull of landing defenders Jason Shackell and Elliott Ward. Due to finances and the likely transfers of Billy Sharp, Doncaster may have to settle for a 6 month loan deal for Shackell. Ward is available on a free transfer.
-
It also says this ...

Portsmouth goalkeeper David James may be set to sign for Doncaster Rovers on a free transfer following a recommendation by Spurs manager Harry Redknapp, who worked with Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll at Bournemouth.
And this...

I may start my own rumours website and make up a load of shite.
Anyone can make something up about Sharp, Shack, Ward and have it sound feesible since they've all been here on loan. No way can we afford the likes of David James wages-wise, nor would we want him. We want a younger keeper in (hopefully Rob Burch?), we've already got one geriatric keeper.
And I can't see SOD needin a recommendation from Redknapp to decide whether James is good enough or not, he's an England international!
-
I sent the one about David James in to check whether the website is at all moderated.
As I expected, it isn't.
-
Lets see if the one I made up appears :)

I love this site. It's so funny. According to it Southampton are paying Wednesday's £800,000 for Varney who belongs to Derby.

He available on a free transfer and is looking for a 2 year contract. He is also expected to trial at Leeds United next week if no deal with Barnsley can be made.

Funny that. I heard these exact figures some weeks ago. The only doubt I have about it is the certain death nail it will put in Blackwell's coffin if they let him go.

Here's a load of b*llocks I just posted. See if its on the site on Tuesday. Also, check if our relagation odds dramatically change in Sunday's NOTW! :P Im sure thats where they get their stories from.
After becoming wise to Doncaster Rovers elegant and technical style of football, president of Brazilian side Santos Laguna, has formed an affilliate with the Championship club in order to create awareness of the Brazillian clubs top youngsters, whilst giving the players experience of playing in a demanding and physical league and working under one of the best man managers in English football. Douglas Costa, a target of Manchester United, will be the first youngster arriving at the Keepmoat stadium on a season long loan which can be terminated upon acceptance of any big offers for the Brazillian wonderkid.
Free agent, Juninho, formerly of Middlesborough will also join the club as a player coach and mentor to the arrivees from Santos Laguna, helping the players settle and adapt in the loan spells.

According to the BBC, this guy has just signed for Werder Bremen!
1828: DONE DEAL: The Irish Football Association has confirmed 19-year-old Cliftonville and Northern Ireland under-21 striker Liam Boyce has completed a move to Werder Bremen - Tottenham's opponents in the Champions League group stages, of course, for an undisclosed fee. From the Irish Premiership to the Bundesliga... it's a funny old game!
Thought I recognised the name so did a search on here and found we had been 'linked' with him on that stupid rumours site.
