Looks like sadlier going down road to rotherham just cant agree wages at the moment

From what I saw last season, very little hope that the Merry Millers will be hanging around the Championship scene much beyond one season.
The misgivings I have about that move is will he fit in with their style of play?. It is not that technical, based on getting the ball forward quickly and pressurising the opposition when not in possession, which with the best will in the world I don't see as Sadliers main strengths, especially the physical aspect. He is better than that, a touch and go player with a bit of flair and an eye for an opening who can finish, the sort of player a manager wants to produce the unpredictable when nothing looks to be on. If he goes there I wish him all the best and really hope he does well for himself, but would question the motive and reasons why an agent or advisor would channel him towards a team that has the potential not to suit his style of play and progress in the game.
MM, if I had an agent who looked after himself at my expense, he wouldn't be around very long mate. If money is the only driving force they have it is no good for the player, and any player with any intelligence at all would make sure their well being was the main issue on the agenda. And that game at our level and Rotherhams has just got a whole lot harder for any agent.

TBF, his agent will channel him where the most cash is....... If I had an agent, that is what I would expect him to do for me..

Yes but when it can come down to the best deal for the agent, and not necessarily for the player, as has happened but I am not saying that it is money for the agent in this case, but a poor choice of a clubs playing style, which is alien to the style he has just flourished in. It's like Kane and Sheaf going to Wycombe just because they are in the Championship, a complete change of style of play they might not fit in with. Sadlier to Rotherham smacks of the same thing to me, or that he has been lined up somewhere else and it has not come off., and the agent needs a deal.
Thanks hound knew mills went up but didn't realize he played so many games, so we are up to 5 players so far in recent times
What does it matter anyone now .. Stadlier played himself into a position where his value raised and Rovers didn’t see his long term potential unlike Whiteman. Good luck to him as playing for a new team will either improve him or like Marquis demonstrate his limitations.
