Hope we sign him, to me the reason Championship and top end League 1 sides appear not to be in for him is that for the majority of the last 2 years he’s been average (with signs of potential) and with a poor scoring record.
Had he played like he has in the last 2/3 months over a 2 year period he’d be gone to one of the above.
So what’s his huge improvement down to?
Suddenly clicked/ playing in right position/playing in a better side/coached and managed properly… or his contract was up?

If he plays like he has recently and we have him contracted to us then he’ll be leaving on a nice fee, to a club much higher than league 2.
so I really do hope we sign him and he then continues playing like the real Luke Molyneux

Thought he reverted to type in the 2nd leg against Crewe , the full back had him in his pocket 1st half, he grew into the game 2nd half & got in some dangerous positions but his decision making was awful.

And Reeves slipped in a very, very clever point in her Mansion House speech in March.

Currently, the OBR's economic predictions work on the principle that Govt investment doesn't increase economic output.

Why they do that, God alone knows because it's batshit. If we build a new railway line, or houses where they are needed, of course economic activity increases.

Reeves said she will require the OBR to change that rule. That means when she borrows to invest, the OBR's predictions of GDP five years down the line will be much higher than they would be under current rules.

So, because predicted GDP will be higher, she'll be able to spend more on both current costs and capital investment without breaking the Fiscal rules she has signed up to.

It's very clever politics and appears to have gone straight over the heads of the "They're just Red Tories" bunch.

So Reeves wants the rules changing so they give a more favourable long term "prediction" so in the meantime she can borrow more cash on the strength of it, ermm.

This sounds something like the policy way back when work placements were introduced for kids that had left school with very poor or no formal qualifications. get them into the scheme, it gives them a job for a year, you can then massage the employment figures and make it look like the trend is downwards but in reality the "created job" kicks out the individual at the end of the year and gives it to another struggling school leaver. Looks like your being proactive but in reality its a mirage and not a good substitute for creating solid and permanent long term jobs and growth.

Massaging the figures didn't work then and will more than likely not work now.

Plus, Rachel Reeves has set out in detail what Labour's economic plan is:

In a nutshell, it is a very long term plan for growth. Balance the current account but allow borrowing for investment. It's the classic remedy for an economy that has spent too long living on consumption and not investing.

It's not going to solve our problems in 1 year, or even 5 years. But it's setting the right direction for the next 30 years.
bst if the tories had said that you would have said the need to spend massive now, borrow lots and invest! You were all over bidens plan in america, now labour are getting into power by saying what the tories say you seem to have changed your tune slightly

If we start the season with Lawler and Jones then it should be Lawler for me, but I hope we bring in better.

To be honest I'd find it hard to choose between them.

Jones is a good shot-stopper and his distribution is generally good, but his positioning can be questionable and both he and Lawlor scare me to death at crosses into the box. They are both also too ponderous and lacking in composure when trying to play out from the back, so we lose that option as an outlet (which was one of TLT's strong attributes).

You can just seem to sense that the defence are nervous with either of these two in goal, whereas they all looked confident and calm in front of TLT.

So in summary we definitely need an upgrade if we want to challenge at the top of the table.

The small parties in the future would get over 100 Seats if we had PR

This time round Green Party will get about 10% of votes cast and equating to 65 seats under PR but will get 1 Seat in Brighton Pavilion maybe 1 more if they are lucky

It stinks because if they did get 65 seats the non voters totalling 13 million who say " my vote doesn't count , my vote is irrelevant , might just might see that it does (under PR) and begin to vote for them

That would be better than Pinocchio Johnson getting 43% of votes cast and getting way more than 279 Seats

The trouble is the two main parties always go quiet on PR or don't mention it at all when they're in the ascendency. They don't give a stuff about the minor parties and would never want to promote or advance their aims. Talk about democracy for them means something completely different.

A great many people feel totally disenfranchised in their constituencies because of this system and would welcome the possibility of PR.

The Tories only allowed a referendum on PR at the cost of LD support last time this was raised. Ive on doubt that Labour will be very quite on this and will not wish it to be discussed at the top level.

When you look back at what we've had to endure from previous governments of both colours it would of been interesting to have seen how a PR system would have tempered their excesses.

Instead of lurching back and forth every time the government changes(don't you just get sick of listening to politicians saying they will need x amount of years to undo the mess the other side have made, before they proceed to make their own bigger mess) This nation needs stability and longer term planning, things that only a PR system would give us.

This really needs to be considered for the countries future long term benefit.

Not much chance of that in the next election cycle.
