Agents. Players have agreed terms agents terms are not agreed. Rovers playing hardball on that with agents. Good on them.

I think what BFYP means is that agents "demand" a fee when a player signs on.  If these are a bit on the uppish side, clubs are entitled to say no, sharpen your pencil Mr Agent, and give us a fee that actually reflects whatever the hell you do.

Usually the players are all signed up and done, but the deal cant be officially completed until Mr Agent takes his pound of flesh too.

Why should the club have to agree a fee with an agent? Surely as the players agent he should agree a fee with his agent?

Well that's the thing, I would've thought so too, these agents have ended up getting too much.

Gavin said for one player the amount is so much it amounts to one good signing for us out of the budget if we pay it.  More clubs should be taking a stand, but I don't blame the agents either, the clubs like QPR, Portsmouth etc are paying them, good old Harry eh?

That's how it tends to work on the continent,  Wellred. Sadly,  in the UK clubs have made payments to agents for their "services" for so long it is now the norm.

Agents - pah, should have their legs cut off and be beaten to death with the wet end!
