How many of the oldies on here remember the pork shop where Macdonalds in town now stands?
They sold the best dripping sandwiches ever.

Remember it well,used to work at Allied Carpets on Duke Street and the dripping sarnies were to die  for.

My Mum used to buy dripping from Leesings Pork Butchers just down from Beethams in the market. we are going back 50+ years now

Would that have been Ruddocks?

My Grandad ran the market stall for Leesings he started in the shop somewhere early mid 60's then when they opened in the market Charlie and ny Grandad ran it for them
