Yes, the loan window is open. I'm expecting some movement before our next game!

I'm hoping the movements in happen early this week, so we can get some training sessions under our belt

I hope that "some" of our loan targets have been training with the squad since last week!

When I walked past the training ground beginning and end of the week I could not see any new players. Let's hope Dean can keep to his word and now some of the high earners have gone we can bring in some players.

I think if he doesn't manage it it's not a case of him breaking his word, it's just a case of not managing to do it.

I feel "Keeping his word" would only fit a situation he had full control over.

But yeah, let's hope he gets the players he wants.

I accept that getting players in is not his decision alone. But if that's the case he should not say in the media when a high earner goes I can bring 2 / 3  /4 players in. So we will wait and see who if any he manages to get.

Why? There's a difference between "can bring in" from a financial point of view and then actually finding the right player, getting a deal done with the club and then with the player. I'm sure what he's said is correct and the phrase "keep his word" isn't really relevant. Would you rather he sign 3 or 4 rubbish players just so he's kept to his word?

When Saunders keeps saying he has players "lined up" to come in when high earners leave, i'd say that players should be in almost straight away, so if players are "lined up" then I would expect at least one movement in today

Would any players signed today have to return to their parent club in 91 days time under the terms of the emergency loan system? If that is the case it might be more sensible to sign players at the end of this month so as not to leave the squad threadbare over the festive season.

Am I correct in thinking that the window shuts on friday?

If I so reckon we'll bring 1 more player in on deadline day. Hope I'm wrong but it's very quiet on here, and although I know any deals may not be leaked or broadcast, there is usually some stuff knocking about here.

Still, like I say, hope I'm wrong on this!

Unless of course those lined up got fed up standing waiting in line and went on to sign for someone else/dont want a loan move.

I Hope Deano's bowel movements are more regular than what's come in up to now in loans, otherwise he is going to be feeling a bit like we are ''A Bit constipated''
