Walsall beating Franchise, Sheff U only drawing at lowly Scunny, the continued demise of Coventry, Orient winning at Swindon and Portsmouth having a good day out.

Yes, it'll be better to judge in 5 games time, but from the bottom to the top, this league seems more open than I expected.

Blades did have 9 men thought. It does seem an open league, if the blades don't win it though I will be surprised.

also if we had played and won we would be up to at least 6th now we have to play catch up

soon back to the good old days of playing every sat and tues

It's up to us. We have the players that are well capable of being in the top six if not automatic. It's whether they choose to show their class or take the easy option.

I just think James Husband could be a barometer to how we fair this season. Leave him out of the first XI at our peril but for me he embodies the positive side of DRFC. Heart and soul is what we need.
