We've also been charged but unlike Leeds have requested a personal hearing- which suggests we are going to offer some mitigating evidence in an attempt to reduce the size of the fine.

Doubt it will be that bad Ray, usualy, match bans for the players concerned and fines for the clubs. The good thing is that none of the players concerned on our side our with us now. In fact the main protagonist is now at Leeds, so they could lose the players from then, plus Diouf.

Interesting dressing room at Leeds given Diouf was heavily involved

Are any of the players involved still here?  Perhaps Gary Woods?  Tommy Spurr was stretchered off so he wasn't involved.

I can't remember a team getting a points deduction for a tunnel brawl between players. I'm more confident of waking up with ginger hair in the morning than I am of us getting a points deduction for this.

According to witnesses the rovers players involved were a black player with a blonde line down his head (diouf) a black player with dreadlocks (chimbonda/Bagayoko) and a white player with ginger hair (lockwood)

dont think any of our current players even played did they? (except spurr) so only punishment will be a fine, depending what happened a touchline ban for saunders could happen.
