The only thing holding us back RB is the time of year. Most clubs will hold off until the last possible moment so they can keep their wage bill as low as possible during the summer months, anybody signed now will expect a salary.

I doubt that.We want hungry player's not greedy one's.If a player who is already getting a wage demands paying before he actually starts working for us then tell him where to shove it . As for the " bonus " or " signing on fee " we will have to pay that anyway so we wouldn't be saving anything if we paid it now or later.
