Sorry if this has been mentioned already but, to anybody who has been before, where is the best place to go for a pint for away fans?

Wolfie can answer this.
When I went there he knew exactly which pub to go to, just a short walk from the ground.
Only a small (ish) pub and home and away fans in there.
The highlight was that a stunningly good looking WPC was in the pub too.

Was there a stag do in?

Ha, I thought that at first, but no there wasn’t.
She was accompanied by a male PC.
They were great fun to have a chat with and joined in with the banter.

Just thought I’d nip in and wish you guys all the best of luck for Saturday. What a fantastic run you’ve had and it all seemed to happen after you let Connor Carty get injured!! The luck of the Irish must have left him and switched to you? Anyway, not that I think you’ll need luck but good luck for not just Saturday but also in the play offs.

The only 2 times we have won two games on the trot v Gillingham were  the 16th of December 1961 2-1 and 15th of September 1962 1-0 and  14th of March 1970 and 23rd of January 1971 both 1-0 victories but in separate seasons, we have never done the double over them in one season.
So we need to make history on Saturday
I think this is the season we will do it Brian.

Suggestions that Gillingham may play some youngsters and that Josh Andrews may not play a part.

I went to Gillingham once, and we won 2-0..  easy peasy..
YOU ARE GOING TOMORROW. I will ask LES to put you in the coach luggage Dept if you haven’t booked a seat.

I have only been once, and we won 3-1… lemon squeezy.
Same goes for you hound as IDM
Post above.

There will be space in the luggage Dept in our Coach.

You are both rare beasts having been only once and both seen different wins. We have only done it 3 times in 35 games since our 1st encounters in 1960/61

Unbelievable JEFF

We will do it tomorrow, we have to.

Just figured it’s written for us to achieve the playoffs in this game…

#Gi11ingham

Either 11 on the bounce or 1-1, I’ll take either! A little excited now.

One stat that’s going to work in our favour.
Haks played 31 times for Gillingham and scored one goal and zero assists. They think he’s garbage.
Well you know what happens against former clubs - he’s going absolutely kill ‘em.

Well said and this also is proof of how well Grant is at motivating his players. The Lincoln fans have a poor opinion of HA too but he is a different man in this club environment

Oh crikey that last 30 mins was agony

I did say we never do it the easy way
& we didn’t

What a relief but just a pity we didn’t get the club record.

We were denied a blatant pen when Maxwell was fouled

Battling performance after cruising to an easy win. We never do things the easy way!

Thought Bailey was MOM, solid as a rock all over the field and with his important touches at both ends of the pitch kept us in the game.

Player of the season by a country mile.

I don't think anyone could argue with that.

Once this is all done Bailey deserves a thread of his own, a player who's grown and grown as the season wore on.

Think “player of the season by a country mile” could definitely be argued with!

Adelakun, Craig & TLT have all been tremendous since signing, and Moly & Wood have had new leases of life, but for me (and surely a lot of people) Ironside is up there with Bailey. It’s a coin flip for me but both have been a key part of this run as well as consistently putting in very good performances even when the other 9 players were regularly found wanting.

Bailey through consistency, quality and sheer staying power. Nobody got anywhere near his minutes on pitch. Absolute monster.

I was at Wycombe V Charlton today, the last team Donny played in a league playoff.

Watching Donny's match at Gillingham unfold and hang on for that much needed point to secure a playoff spot and absolutely delighted to see Grant, his management team and the players get the result they needed.

No one can argue that Donny are the L2 in-form team, hitting the right note just at the right time......................!

Would we really want to have it any other way, must be really boring watching Man City.
