Carr House Road - Saturday tea time

Anyone know what was going on Saturday tea time on Carr House Road. There was a bump going towards the RaceCourse roundabout but then the road was closed on the other side.

A SCOOTER driver was taken to hospital with neck and back injures after being involved in a collision with a car.


The crash happened along Carr House Road at the junction with Stockhill Road in Balby, which involved a silver Peugeot and a silver Piaggio scooter.

A spokesman for the police said the injuries to the scooter driver were not “life-threatening or life-altering”.

She added that Carr House Road was closed off for several hours following the crash which happened around 5pm on Saturday.

No further details have been released about the scooter driver or the Peugeot motorist.

it was hyde park , saw the aftermath . i was shocked to hear scooter driver was ok because it looked very serious .
