Got most decisions right but was weak and should have jumped on the timewasting and persistant niggly fouling

I agree with that Dags.
He got most things right but if he had booked on of theirs early for their niggling fouls it might have flowed better.
He ignored Nelson's time wasting even after telling him to hurry up in the first half. He didn't fall for their number two lying down in the last couple of minutes though, just told him to get up.

A 3 from me. Did pretty well in terms of getting decisions right. However I just wonder when a referee will get a grip on persistent fouling and time wasting. It happened in both the Rochdale and Scunthorpe games, and it is clear that our opponents are using both as tactics to try and stop us playing at a high tempo.

One of the better refs we have had this season, but could have done better with the time wasting, as DF said, their time wasting started in the warm up! Should have also booked their player that CS went over and injured himself.

Agree.  Someone on another thread summed up the added time they thought should have been allowed and concluded that he had got it about right to cover the time wasting but that really isn't the point.  Apart from running the clock down time wasting disrupts the momentum of the team chasing the game and probably gets under the skin of the team on the receiving end, so just adding an amount on at the end isn't the answer.

3 from me too.. I agree that most decisions were correct, but should have started using his cards after 30 minutes, not 70,,,
