Translation:
"Drawing attention with his 1.96 height, Tiago Çukur transferred to the English team Watford in the interim transfer period of the 2020/2021 season. Tiago Çukur, who spent the 2021/2022 season on loan at Doncaster Rovers, recorded 15 goals and 2 assists in 55 games in his career."

That must include junior matches. I don't think he got 15 touches of the ball with us.

If you don’t have a good attitude & work ethic you won’t be good at anything.

My definition of a ‘good’ player is someone who has application, vision, tenacity, technique & comes off the pitch ringing with sweat (Prince Andrew aside) & Cukur doesn’t get a tick in any of those boxes from me.

Thing is Gaz that even at that age, if they’re destined for greater things you usually see something; a flash of speed, a turn, attitude, whatever.

With Cukur I saw absolutely nothing.

It's possible, but if it was, he was hiding his skill set very well. Not a single run, challenge, pass, piece of control or shot did he perform that ever once made me think "Ey up! This lad might have summat."

He showed absolutely nothing to suggest he was a good player or could be a good player while he was with us. Not even a glimmer. Nothing.
