I play octordle every day to and got stuck for ages yesterday
I had ratio already  and the last four letter on another line . Spent ages trying to get it even though P was an option as I got stuck pronouncing it like the R  in ratio  and couldn't see it. English , what a language

That happened to me in March 2023 Wolfie and I was so astonished I took a photo of the screen for posterity, which I've just located.
I used my usual start word of CLAIM and got zilch, so I tried TOUGH and it was correct!
