Just watched the Brian Deane interview on Football Focus. What a gent very articulate and also very positive re his managerial future...new ideas, new perspective on management.
Can deffinately see him managing at the Keepmoat in the future.
True Legend.

What was brians deane first game at donny?
I recall Whitby town away in facup 1st round,as i ran a coach to This game and deano Made it 1-1 in last few mins.
Seem to recall Loads of local skinheads behind the away end on the street lobbing bricks and other shit into rovers Throu the game?
For sure There was more Than enough fisty mboro fans in Whitby that day too

He's changed!
As an 18 year old, he was part of a Rovers squad that were taken down a local pit to see how other folk had to graft to earn a living. Look North followed them. When they came out, they asked Deane what it was like. "I wo' scared to death, me" he said.
