Pre-seasons
« on April 29, 2012, 07:26:33 pm by ditch_drfc »
Maybe this is a bit early but I'm bored without a match to look forward to already.

Who does everyone want for preseasons? Be good to have some at home (for a change)

I'd like Retford away, Bradford away, Villa at home and maybe a championship team at home.

City at the Etihad, a tour of the big boys darn Landan and a trek up to Geordieland. :P

If not, I'd "settle" for York away, Rotherham away, a big side at home, we'll probably book Wellie or something like that and a game against a team like Boston (for purely nostalgic reasons) away. Not fussed with home friendlies, see enough of the Keepmoat empty and quiet all year.

Wouldn't mind FCUM at all, or a trip abroad. Rovers on tour :P

You don't want to ruin the fun you'll experience at Bury vs Doncaster during the season though!

OH GOD! ... It's REAL i'nt it? I'm not going to wake up, and it's all been a weird dream am I? We're bound for some real odd places next season. I don't like wandering too far from the East Coast Main Line, let the train take the strain. Looks like the M62's gonna get some hammer.

Away to Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead or Darlo would be good for me.

Would be good to have a home game for a change.

Failing that, away to Malaga in the middle of June would be good for me

I don't think Rotherham's new stadium is going to be ready for pre season.

#drfc lining up 2012/13 pre-season friendlies at home to Barnsley & Sheffield Wednesday. The latter might depend on whether the Owls go up.
