Looks as though GM's first decree is to take the team out for a bit of warm weather training in La Manga in Spain... Bit closer than Thailand!!!

What is the point in just going training to Spain? Waste of time and money. Warm weather training whilst it’s the summer in England.

Isn't there a sports training facility there? I'm sure it's not just warm weather training.

Other teams are out there so friendly games will be played also allows Barnsley to do their transfer shopping by taking players we have on trial.

Team bonding and getting to know the players in a different environment. The players are away from their family so just purely focusing on football.
